Molality - Chemistry Definition

Definition: a unit of concentration, defined to be equal to the number of moles of solute divided by the number of kilograms of solvent.
Examples: The solution made by dissolving 0.10 mol of KNO3 into 200 g of H2O would be 0.50 molal in KNO3 (0.50 m KNO3).
