Wild horse colt in Waipio Valley.Anne Helmenstine
No, it's not chemistry, but it's cute. This is wild horse colt, down in Waipio Valley. The wild horses remain from the tragic 1946 tsunami.
Many of the wild animals you can see in Hawaii aren't native. Examples include this colt. Other non-native species include the mongoose, black rat, feral cat and pigs, ants, and wasps.
