CCHOS MSDS Database
The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety provides an extensive MSDS database, available in either English or French. The databases are available for purchase in several formats or use online via a subscription service.
CDMS Label / MSDS Information
Crop Management Data Systems, Inc. offers this free searchable database of labels and MSDSs. There is a list of contributing manufacturers. Acrobat Reader is required.
Chemical Safety Information
The Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory of Oxford University provides general safety information for a wide range of materials. Included is a list of carcinogens, low flash point organics, glove materials, highly toxic materials, maximum exposure limits, and many other categories.
MSDS FAQ, The
This is a comprehensive listing of Frequently Asked Questions pertaining to MSDSs. There are links to databases, a glossary, and other information.
MSDS Search
This is the National MSDS Repository. In addition to MSDSs, the site provides news, links to suppliers, emergency response information, a newsletter, and additional resources.
Search the EMCI Chemical References Web Pages
This is the US EPA Envirofacts Support Team searchable database for chemical references. There is also a listing of all chemicals monitored by EPA's Major Program Systems: Air (AFS), Water (PCS), Hazardous Waste (RCRIS), Superfund (CERCLIS) and Toxics Release Inventory (TRIS).
Vermont SIRI MSDS Collection
There is a searchable database by manufacturer, product name, CAS, or NSN. Toxicology reports may be search also. Additional links and resources are provided.
